Miniature Art by Matt Ritchie

When it comes to the scale of his work, California artist Matt Ritchie  has a preference for quality over quantity. Outlined in thick borders with iconic line work and saturated colors, his miniature illustrations demonstrate an appreciation for detail, complimented by a style that is reminiscent of vintage graphic novels and comic books.

This inspiration is clear as his portfolio is populated by a veritable who’s who in the world of fantasy art, from Marvel Comics to Star Wars and beyond. While each piece stands on its own as a product of steady hands, strained eyes, and infinite patience, the true depth of Matt’s commitment is revealed in the overall scope of his work. There is a rich palette of color
